Create net based installers for your applications.
Use the included wizard to configure the installer runtime. The runtime will be handed over to your customers. It downloads your own installation package (e.g. MSI installer) from the configured FTP or webserver.
This installer allows full control over the distribution of your application and associated versions. Bug fixes may be directly distributed without removing or recalling existing versions. This is important if you host your application on public shareware websites. Specially in that case you may not have full permission on vendor websites.
XI!NIS also allows to automatically download your installation package based on local language of the operating system. This is not possible with standard MSI packages and reduces the complexity to create a single multi language installer or to offer different versions of the installation package itself.
